We recently went through a complete website redesign and information architecture update on our own website. As a small business we face many of the same challenges that our clients face when redesigning their company website. Because we practice what we preach, we followed the same strategic process with our own redesign, that we use with every redesign we do for clients. We designed and built our website within the WordPress CMS, reworked the page structure, and built an information architecture that aligned with Google’s goals and our user’s mindset. We also reworked the SEO to focus on keywords that represented client challenges, instead of pushing our own products and services.
